The Passaic County Planning Department is preparing a new Transportation Element for the County Master Plan. The Transportation Element will serve as the blueprint for the County’s future transportation system – including roads, transit, waterways, and bicycle and pedestrian facilities. It will identify the types of policies and investments needed to ensure future mobility for our residents, support economic vitality, and contribute to a high quality of life throughout the County over the next several decades.

You are invited to attend any of a series of public open house meetings being held to discuss this new transportation blueprint. Attached is a flyer with all the dates, times, and locations of these meetings. Please forward this to anyone you think may be interested in getting involved with this effort.

These meetings are just the first step in soliciting comments and we welcome your continued involvement.
