HOW TO REGISTER FOR EMAIL BULLETINS TO STAY UP TO DATE
ON NJ RECOVERY
 
Stay up to date with the most relevant information for survivors of Hurricane Sandy by signing up
for New Jersey recovery bulletins. To get the most current news and information by email directly
from FEMA register by following these simple steps:
 
Go online to http://www.fema.gov/disaster/4086 and look for the link to receive NJ recovery bulletins.
 

 
Page 1-Email Updates
Choose your Subscription Type (Email or SMS/Text Message) by selecting it in the drop down box.
Enter your Email Address in the field provided, and then click the “Submit” button.

Page 2-New Subscriber
Confirm your Subscription Type in the drop down box.
Check and make sure that your Email Address is correct.
Enter your email address again in the Confirm Email Address field.
Select your Email Delivery Preference. Choose one of the following:
Send updates immediately by email.
Send updates daily by email.
Send updates weekly by email.
 
If you want extra protection, create an Optional Password by writing it in the field.
Confirm Password in the field below, then click the “Submit” button
 
Page 3-Success (Hurricane Sandy Subscription)
Your email has been successfully subscribed to New Jersey Hurricane Sandy Recovery for FEMA. Click the “Finish” button.
 
Page 4-Quick Subscribe
FEMA offers updates on many topics. Subscribe to the ones you want to receive by checking the boxes; unsubscribe by unchecking the boxes. Click “Submit.”
 
Page 5-Questions
Answer the questions so FEMA can better serve you.
Enter your five-digit U.S. Zip Code in the field provided.
Select your State in the drop down box, and then click “Submit.”
 
Page 6-Other Organizations
There are other organizations you may be interested in receiving updates from. Check an organizations box if you would like to subscribe to their updates; unsubscribe by unchecking the box. By clicking “Submit,” you are providing your email address to these agencies. When you are ready, click “Submit.”
 
Page 7-Success (Other Organizations)
You have successfully subscribed to updates from FEMA and other agencies. You may also change your preferences by clicking on the link titled “Subscriber Preferences.” Click “Submit.”

A small pop-up window will appear asking “Are you sure you want to navigate away from this page?” Click “OK”
 
Check your email
