Under the direction of the Construction Official, this position has the administrative responsibility for administering the electrical subcode of the State Uniform Construction Code within the concerned jurisdiction.  The part-time Electrical Sub-code Official/Inspector will review plans and provide inspections for all electrical work in construction projects underway to ensure compliance with the plans and specifications approved in accord with the State Uniform Construction Code.  This is a part-time position not to exceed 21 hours in any week  (Three Days per Week) for plan review and inspections.    Township vehicle provided for inspections.

Required:

• Electrical Sub-code Official HHS License
• Electrical Inspector HHS License
• Good customer service skills
• Good computer and technology skills
• Valid Driver's license
• Clearance of a criminal history background check
